Some people spend their life wondering what they’re meant to do and some people know from day one. Lindsey Horan is one of the few who never had to question what she’d spend her life doing. She was the first female soccer player in Colorado to choose professional soccer over a college education. To her, bypassing the traditional college route was worth it for a shot at the National Team.
Lindsey began her professional career with Paris Saint-Germain where she scored 46 goals in her 58 appearances with the club. The Colorado native returned to the United States after 4 years in Paris to play for the NWSL team in Portland.
Horan is no stranger to the thrill of scoring for her team. One of her goals that she’ll likely be replaying in her head forever? In the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup match against Sweden, Lindsey scored in the first three minutes.
Following her gut has taken Lindsey exactly where she wanted to go in life. Where do you hope the game takes you?
